The Lanesborough Afternoon Tea
Location: The Lanesborough Grill, London, UK
Step into the opulent world of 1813 London with Bridgerton-inspired afternoon tea at The Lanesborough. This limited-edition experience, created in collaboration with Netflix and Shondaland, captures the elegance of Regency-era gatherings with sumptuous décor beneath a domed glass ceiling and intricate bas-relief designs. Signature desserts reflect the characters of the show: Lady Whistledown is a bittersweet grapefruit and raspberry mousse finished with white chocolate and a feather; The Book of Eloise layers vanilla cheesecake with blueberry filling; Colin’s Travels is a dark chocolate spondee with ganache and gold leaf; and The Social Butterfly, inspired by Penelope’s transformation, features pistachio and mandarin mousse beneath a shimmering green glaze. It’s a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The Lounge x SAUVEREIGN Afternoon Tea

This artistic afternoon tea marries culinary expertise with high fashion. In collaboration with luxury maison Sauvereign, The Lounge has designed a menu inspired by Ellsworth Kelly’s KLY64 Gem collection. Executive Chef Maxime Luvara presents an inventive savoury selection, from smoked salmon with cream cheese and salmon roe to egg with wasabi mayonnaise and Kristal caviar. Duck rillettes, foie gras, and baked Parisian ham with Brie provide rich flavours, while Executive Pastry Chef Ringo Chan offers a colourful array of desserts: chestnut and grapefruit delights, honey-yogurt pistachio treats, forest berry macarons, and mandarin-caramel chocolate tarts. Warm scones with lychee-rose and red berry jams, paired with clotted cream, round out this luxurious experience.

Guests can enjoy themed pastries reflecting locations such as the Ring of Kerry, Achill Island, and Newgrange, alongside sandwiches like Burren organic smoked salmon with dill crème fraîche, roast beef with horseradish, and cucumber-chive cream cheese. A curated selection of 16 Ronnefeldt teas served in Wedgewood china elevates the experience. Seasonal additions and optional Bollinger Champagne complete this journey of taste, literature, and scenic inspiration.
